We would like to start off this week's news by thanking Todd from Unglued for bringing some of his family and friends out to the show. He not only rocked off stage but he also graced us by performing a special song with the guys called of all things "Unglued" by Stone Temple Pilots. You can view pictures of Todd rocking out with us on stage in our picture section by clicking on our latest gig photos from Saturday. Just click on the thunmbnail that say Pennison's Copperfield 12-11-2004 to view Saturday's photos.
We would also like to thank Steve our sound man for enduring his pain from his back injury to come up and mix us and make sure we sounded great…."You Rock Steve". And we would like to thank Jill his very lovely wife for driving him up to the gig in his diminished condition and letting him do what he does best.

What an awesome weekend!! We played up in Dallas, TX. at Firewater this past Friday night and then in Pasadena, TX at the Corner Pocket on Saturday. Thanks to all of our friends that came and Rocked out with us and a hello to all of the new friends we made. We certainly didn't pull any stops that's for sure. We took a new song out for a ride that we had just learned this past week and didn't intend on playing it, however, it was ironically requested at FireWater. Disturbed's, "Down with the Sickness", made its debut into our setlist and now is a permanent addition as it was a definate crowd favorite. Jerry sends out special thanks to his =GSO= buddies that came to the show on Friday night. Hope you enjoyed the hard pounding rock we threw at ya!! New photos for the week are now posted in the pictures area.
We will be playing at Pennison's Copperfield this coming Saturday night, December 11th, 2004. Come out and join us. I am sure we will have a good time. :)
Once again, thanks for visiting www.tornrocks.com and Take Care James, Craig, Rick, Jerry, Omar.

New news from the TORN world! We will be taking a holiday this next week to give us an opportunity to spend some time with our families for Thanksgiving. We played a fun show at Pennison's Copperfield on Friday the 19th. Our thanks go out to Susan, our favorite bartender, and the entire staff there at Pennison's for making it a great venue that we always enjoy. TORN is hitting the road after Thanksgiving, playing a show on Friday, December 3rd at Firewater Bar and Grill in Dallas. We will be playing all over the place in December, including a new club in Houston called The Concert Bar (formerly Sam's Irish Pub). We will be playing the grand opening for that club, so come out and support us and get The Concert Bar off to a great start. There will be more information to come about the grand opening dates and times. Have a great holiday weekend with your family and friends and stay safe on winter roads.

First of all I would like to start this newsletter out by giving a shout out to Big Daddy and his gang there at Hero's. We had a blast rocking for the people there in Killeen and made allot of new friends from the town and Army base there. We were especially proud to play for those courageous soldiers that had recently made it back from serving our great nation in Iraq. The Crowd seemed to really like the heavy stuff down there so we were sure to not disappoint them. One song in particular was played a few times that they kept requesting was our heavy version of "Baby Got Back". We hope to make Hero's our home away from home while visiting Killeen by playing there every month for as long as they will have us. Don't forget to check out or photos from Hero's by clicking here or the pictures page and selecting Hero's 11-12 & 13-2004.
Coming up this weekend we are back once again at Pennison's 2 Copperfield on the west where we always have a blast. So feel free to come and rock out, dance and buy us and yourselfs lots of beer!!!

Another great week has passed and we are still going strong and rockin' the crowds where ever we land. This week took us to 2 new venues that we haven't previously played and we were more than happy to show them how TORN really Rocks... First off was Mo's Place in Katy, TX. a great club for local acts both rock and country. We would like to thank the staff and the crowd there for making us feel right at home "Pull the Siren one more time Winston!". The second place was located in the the Woolands a great little sports bar there called Rookies Sports Bar and Grill who definatley don't run short on extremely pretty girls and the ability to have a great time. We hope to grace these places again very soon for those of you who live nearby these clubs and frequent them.

Astroworld pictures are up on the pictures page, so be sure to check them out. We had a last minute show dropped in our laps this friday so we packed up and headed over to the Pennison's in Sugar Land and rocked the house. The venue might have been small, but the place really knows how to rock and have a good time. Here's also a special shout out to our new friends in Pull, be sure to check them out at a club near you. Once again, we rocked the west side at Pennison's Copperfield, bringing them the TORN they know and love. Pennison's has kind of become our new home base for Houston, there is always a lot of great people, and not to mention the best bar staff.

TORN once again rocked the house over at Pennison's Copperfield bringing a mix of Alternative, Dance and classic favorites that seemed to keep everyone rocking. A few more songs were added this week such as: "Listen to the Music" and "Long Train Running" by the Doobie Brother which showcased the vocal ability of TORN's show. The three part harmonies of Rick, Jerry and Craig knocked the crowds socks off and made them boogie in to the wee hours of the morning. A few alternative radio hits dawned the setlist at pennison's and were well recepted, Switchfoot's - "Meant to Live" and Incubus' - "Wish you were here" went well and are now keepers. Also added to the set list was a crowd requested Van Halen favorite: "You Really Got Me" that finished off the show. We would like to give a special thanks to Barbara Stark, Jerry's lovely wife for taking some great live photos of us the past few shows. The photos can be viewed on our photos page just drop down the menu and select the appropriate date and location. Take Care:) James, Rick, Craig, Jerry and Omar.
